FrameMarkers or ImageTargets

Hi, A question I am sure has come up before but to which I am unable to find an answer to in the forum. Is it possible to say in general what gives best tracking performance - imagetargets or framemarkers? (Naturally assuming that the imagetarget has been selected and created carefully)

Image targets will give you more robust tracking performance. They are more resilient to occlusion, fast camera movements, steep tracking angles, etc. Frame markers are lighter-weight, however.
