Hi,
I am really new to both Unity and Vuforia, and I am totally impressed by the power of the two.
I am reading around and I see terms like 'up to 100 targets active' or 'up to 5 simultaneous targets', and I got confused a bit.
What I am trying to do is a simple app which will scan an image and recognize if it's one of 17 images uploaded in the target manager.
What I am wondering is which of the terms I mentioned would affect this.
If I can scan an image to recognize up to 100 targets, then I am good to go.
But if I can scan an Image to recognize up to 5 targets, then it's no-go.
Please clarify it for me, thanks.
Have a nice weekend,
Hello,
Hello,
As of the Vuforia 5 release, we can support device databases with up to 1000 active, planar targets. Please review the following documentation for more information:
https://developer.vuforia.com/library//articles/Best_Practices/Best-practices-for-large-device-databases
Great, really clarified
Great, really clarified everything.
With that said, is there a way, or some pricing plan, that supports up to 6 simultaneous targets?
Thanks,
Hello,
Hello,
This is a hard-coded limit in the SDK based upon tracking performance across a wide range of devices.
Thanks
