Added a target but processing has taken longer than 24 hours. Still says "We're processing the target. This may take some time.

All right. It would really help if you could send me (via PM) a link to a couple of your "problematic" images, so that we can reproduce the issue and investigate it in depth.

Hello,

I have the same problem. I was testing how it works and with all images I have tried to upload I had problems. Sometimes It tells me "error in the 24 RGB..." some times... but, the same image finally was uploaded. So, I don't understand why not firstly and why It works fine some time later.

Whith all images I have uploaded I get the same missage "Image processing". I wait a long time and the message go on in the screen. Then I cannot download any database. Sometimes I wait for 10 minuts, after refresh and the message continue in the screen. After 30 minuts the same...

Regards,

Jordi

OK, glad to hear that it worked in the end. I'll take note of your observation on alerting about the "wrong" image.

My image finally worked in the end. There seemed to be something wrong with the file. Corrupt maybe? It was a JPEG I was uploading orginally, changed it to a PNG and file size was reduced and everything seemed to work ok!

Just would have been nice for instead of saying "processing" for days - it just alerted you the file was incorrect in some way.

BTW: I just did the same test, the issue disappears by slightly reducing the image size;

in any case, once uploaded, the image will only show a 1-star rating; so I would advise to simply use a different image if possible.

I got the image thanks. I can confirm that specific image is not working on the Target Manager;

could you make a test by rescaling the image, for instance to:

  • 50% of the resolution (50% width and 50% height)
  • 75% of the resolution (75% width and 75% height)

And see if any of these resized images work ?

Yes, you can send me the problematic image via PM.

Hi,

I´m experiencing a similar problem since more than a week ago.
But it is definitely related to the image itself. I uploaded it once;  a day later a second time as a jpg (first as a png) and than a third time I reduced the resolution greatly and tried it again. All those are still in "processing".

But in the meantime I successfully got other images to get processed.
I can´t publish the picture on this forum but would be willing to send it via mail if helpful.

Please look into this, sice this tracker is supposed to be the new "All-round" tracker for our company.

Thanks

Maik

OK, yes, it would be great if you can make those extra tests; then please report back, and I'll investigate the issue further.

Uploaded two images at 13:00 on Monday 11th Feb. They are both still processing.

Uploaded a separate image today at 12:00 and is still processing 2 hours later.

I'll try other uploading options

  • different images
  • different database

OK, thanks for the info. Does this happen only for one image ?

Have you experienced the same problem with other images ? (if not, could you try with other images and report back ?)
