Marking part of image to ignore in processing

February 13, 2015 - 8:38am #1

Hello,

I have a marker that has 3d object in a middle. the surroundings are flat. Is it possible to edit photo in the way that when its processed to trackable it ignores what is going on in the middle/marked area? Fill it white? Black? Cut alpha? Would be handy to know how its processed.

Thanks.

If you know (at least approximately) what is the area covered by the 3D model when placed over the image target, then you might be able to simply delete the center part of the image and fill that area with a uniform white or grey color (or with some "background" color taken from the rest of the image)

Then you could upload this image as target onto the Targe Manager.
