Real Size Building as Object Target

Hello, I know the object scanner is made for small 3d Objects, but is it possible to scan a building using a machine that is made for this ( I know there are such machines used in architecture ) and then use the data of the scan with vuforia target's database? So I'm asking is your data file super custom or is it designed to be used with other scanners beside the vuforia object scanner? Thank you.
