Hello

It's been a day  I'm struggling with this issue , I have a little neckless which I want to use AR for it , it's almost a flat one and when I take photo and upload it in target manager it gets 4 stars, but the problem is that unity can't detect it , I don't know if it is because of small size or the poor camera quality or what, then I decided to use a small barcode on back of it again the same problem occuerd , 4 stars but untrackable, is it because of changing lighting  condition or something similar ?

thanks a lot for helping me

Hello again,

Unity 2017.1 is not a supported version for Vuforia 6.2.10. Are you able to test this with Unity 5.6 instead? There are various compatibility issues with 2017.1 and Vuforia 6.2.10 that aren't present when using Unity 5.6.

I mimicked your settings in a project in Unity 5.6 with Vuforia 6.2.10 and was able to detect the target in play mode. Unless you're planning on using these features, you can uncheck "Start Automatically" in "Smart Terrain Tracker" as well as the two boxes under "Device Tracker."

If you do not want to roll back to Unity 5.6, you can also use Unity 2017.2 which has Vuforia 6.5 integrated into it.

Let me know what you end up trying and please let me know if you still see this issue in the other versions suggested here.

Thanks,

Vuforia Support

I see that you have a Camera object as a child of your ARCamera, are you using Unity 5.6 with Vuforia 6.2? Or are you using Unity 2017.2 with the integrated 6.5?

The "check for reflection" message shouldn't be an issue (I see it in my sample project). Can you share a screenshot of your Vuforia Configuration? Make sure you block out at least part of your license key when doing so.

Thanks,

Hello elshanazadi,

I've downloaded both of your targets and have been able to detect them within the Core Sample project. I don't have the necklace to test the target against the actual object, but I can confirm it works against the image.

Are you seeing anything in the logs that say whether or not the target has been loaded or detected? Can you confirm that you've marked the targets as both loaded and active in the Vuforia Configuration?

Thanks,

-Vuforia Support
