there is trackerless option beside the vuforia tracker implemented in App called augmentDev which is in the list of apps build with vuforia

It would be nice if Vuforia supported CAD-based tracking for overlaying info onto real-world objects. Any chance this is something we can expect in an upcoming release? I'm not sure if Vuforia allows users to add code to the SDK, but I would be interested in helping build this into the SDK if that is an option.

First 3D model looked completely markerless.

Is it possible using Vuforia?If so how?

It doesn't appear that they are utilizing the features of the camera image to augment the room, rather they may be using inertial sensor data and the compass. Notice how the chair moves when the device is moved starting as 0:16 - the chair does not appear to be registered to the features of the room.

You can accomplish the same by accessing the device accelerometer and the compass, though the tracking isn't going to be as precise as vision based tracking.

For similar design visualization apps, it's common to use a target because it give a better user experience. Vuforia supports both Predefined and User Defined Targets. The latter could enable users to generate a target at runtime using an available image, such as a magazine cover or decorative rug.

but if you saw it you can find that it's kind related ,,,, this can't happen even with manipulation with Coding though Vuforia ??

if u can be sure it would be great thing to us coz we will shift the whole project we working on !

there is an option without a tracker at all just point to flat color or watever ,,,, and it will augment !

Hi, looking at the link:

the video shows several types of augmentations, and they all seem to rely on the use of some "image targets";

if you want to develop something similar, you can certainly do it using the Vuforia SDK.
