We are looking to use a series of coins as targets. The 2D image on each of the coins will be unique and augment the associated content. These coins are exclusive and paid for so we would like to ensure that the 2D image can't be ripped/copied and used as a trigger without having the physical coins.
Could the depth of the coin form part of the trigger so that it recognises the image but in addition to this has to be the correct depth of coin? if not are there any other possible solutions to ensure that the 2D image alone isn't enough to trigger the content?
If the coins have significant
If the coins have significant thickness (compared to the coin diameter), you might consider using CylinderTargets instead of ImageTargets; however, if the coins thickness is too small, it might be hard to factor the depth into the detection.
