Putting cylinder targets into Unity

September 9, 2013 - 8:10am #1

Hi everyone,

I've created a cylinder target using the target manager and have downloaded the target info.

I've imported the package into Unity but unsure which Qualcomm prefab to use. I've only ever used a flat tracker before (using the standard ImageTarget prefab) but that doesn't seem to work for the cylinder tracker when I try to select the Data Set and Image Target.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

For cylinder target you have to used Cylinder Target prefab instead of using Image Target prefab,

1. In your Cylinder Target Inspector select your dataset and cylinder target from Cylinder target behaviour

2. In your ARcamera Inspector select the check box of Load Data Set name and Activate from Data Set Load Behaviour (Script).

Thats it... Its works on my app like that...

Are you using the current extension version ( 2.6.7 )? There should be a Cylinder  prefab that you can use for your Cylinder target.
