Black Screen on Samsung Galaxy Trend

I get a black screen with:

PHONE : Samsung Galaxy Trend GT-S7560

ANDROID: Android version 4.0.4

UNITY : Unity pro version  4.2.1f4

Vuforia: Unity Extension 2.6.7 for Android and iOS

I have unchecked USe 32-bit Display Buffer & Use 24-bit Depth Buffer (answer I found on rhe forums..) and still getting a black screen feed from the camera. I do get tracking and everything else is working perfectly but not getting the camera feed.

Any quick fix solution would be appreciated we are quite in hurry!

First question:

does this happen in one of our samples (so that we can look at it and try to reproduce) ? or is it specific to your app ?

 

Second: For a possible quick fix:
