Initialize camera settings

I am getting following error " network connection required to initialize camera settings. please check your connection and restart the application. if you are still experiencing problems, then your device may not be currently supported. " I tried deleting the application on my phone and reinstalling and making sure my device is connected to the internet before running the first time. But error persist. What could be the problem ? I am using HTC Hero Model No : HERO200 Kernel version : 2.6.29-ba77cf03 Android version : 2.1 - Update1 Thanks, Is some problem with device support ?
