Supported Devices List Question

Hello,

I was wondering how the Recommended Devices list works in terms on Vuforia versions. https://library.vuforia.com/content/vuforia-library/en/platform-support/vuforia-engine-recommended-devices.html

Is the list dependent on which Vuforia version I'm using or will the device work as long as it's on that list even though I'm on an older Vuforia version?

I have an app using Ground Plane and it has been working just fine with a bunch of different devices. However, one of my client has a Huawei P30 (ELE-L29) and for some reason the Ground Plane feature isn't working even though it's in the Recommended Devices list.

I'm using Unity3D 2018.4.1f1 with an older Vuforia version 8.1.7. Would I need to update Vuforia in order to make it work on the Huawei P30?

Or how does it work?

In regards to the issue on P30, please try our Core sample app and let me know if the GroundPlane scene works.

Hello,

We tested the P30 with the Core sample app and it looks like it's working, so I'm not sure why it didn't work in the actual app. All other devices on both iOS and Android are working with Ground Plane.

Any updates on the supported devices list?
