Vuforia doesn't support PC builds?

July 27, 2016 - 5:23am #1

Hi!

I installed Unity 5.3.6Personal (32bits) and Vuforia 5.5.9 to make a sample of Augmented Reality.
Inside the Unity all works fine! When I click in the play button I see the webcam image and my 3D objects appers when I put a image card...
But when I run the build in a Windows PC, don't work. I run the executable, the logo of Unity appear, but the image of the webcam not appears. Just a black screen!

I found in the page of Vuforia-Supported-Versions that Vuforia Supports:

Device OS = Android and iOS

Development OS = Windows and OSX

This means that I can`t run my build in a Windows PC? Just in a Mobile Device?

I'm use Windows 7 32bits, Unity 5.3.6Personal (32bits) and Vuforia 5.5.9.

Thanks.

Hello,

Vuforia 5.5 supports embedded platforms such as Android and iOS. This includes mobile devices and tablets.

We have recently announced that our next release (Vuforia 6) will support Windows 10 devices including Surface Pro 4 and HoloLens.

Thanks
