Xperia S get black screen after splashscreen

Thanks for the report. We're actively pursuing this issue. 

FWIW this is a problem with the XPeria S that affects a range of apps that utilize the camera. It's not exclusive to Vuforia.

Hi,

We have tested our app on Xperia S with Vuforia SDK 2.0.

But we still got black screen, has it be fixed in 2.0?

Any idea?

could you try upgrading your Android 4.0.4 to the latest build: 6.1.A.2.50 ?

also, could you make this quick test:

- clear cache + uninstall the App / reinstall App

- disable network connections

- run App

It seems someone has already got .50 build, but you can do the test (clear/uninstall/reinstall/switch off net and start App) as described also using build .45.

If you can then share the result that would be great.

We just got the test result.

The QCAR screen appears normally when there is no internet connection(clear cache, uninstall, install), after that, if we turn on the internet connection, the black screen shows up.

I think the behavior is the same...., FYI.

one more question for you, which can be of great help for us: 

which Vuforia SDK version are you using in your App that you used for this test?

also, is it just a sample app like Image Targets, or is it your custom application ?
