I was visiting Supported devices page, but there are quite old Android tablets mentioned there.
I am about to purchase Samsung Galaxy s8 tab, but it in not the list. Can anybody confirm that Vuforia works on this tablet? (it has support for ARCore)

Despite this device not being listed in the Recommended Devices article, it should work with Vuforia Engine.
This is the case for most Android devices - Vuforia Engine is expected to run on them. Typically, the question is does a specific device support Advanced Features like Model Targets and Area Targets. If an Android device *is not* listed in the Recommended Devices article but supports ARCore, it can run Advanced Features.
