AR/VR SDK 5.5

We are using Vuforia into Unity, and we run the Unity app into our Glass application. So when we recognize the target and we move our head, the recognition have some delay.
In oder to solve this dalay, we have sawn that in SDK 5.5 we could use the target recognition to generate a virtual object, and then forget the target because the object is generated in a virtual scenary, Is it ok? is it like a AR/VR combination?
We have tried to develop a demo using it, but when we active the DeviceTrackingBehaviour script the aungmented reality doesn´t work. Is this the properly script for using this functionality? or have we develop other device tracking script using the head tracker of the glasses?
