BT-200 depth issue

Hello everyone,

I am experimenting with Vuforia's digital eyewear with the Epson BT-200. I've tried the sample app and at about a 4 foot operating distance, the teapot appears normal. However, as I get closer to the marker or further away, I get basically an out of focus/ duplicate teapot, similar to the strain when trying to view "magic eye" (forgive me for not having a better analogy).

I was hoping it was just me, but I tried with a coworker and he noticed a similar effect. We both calibrated and verified we were using our profiles. It is interesting to note that we observed a similar effect with the red plane in the calibration application.

Is the operating range of the optical see through with Vuforia digital eyewear just a limited range of about 4 feet or are we doing something wrong?

Thanks,

Sam
