[Help] Calibration issue with ARCamera Optical See-Through (Epso

March 23, 2016 - 2:04am #1
Hello, I Use Unity 5.3.1f1 and I have a problem with the calibration for my Epson Bt-200.

I have instantiated the good ARCamera with Optical See-Through, but The items on my image target are shifting on the left.
I test with the new release Vuforia Unity 5.5.9 SDK and Calibration 5.5.9, but I have better results with the old release 5.0.10 SDK.

Also, Is it possible to solve the problem of duplication of my 3D Objects when you are too close of the ImageTarget ? Or it's inherent with the Eyewear ?

Thanks for advice,
Have a great day.

[Help] Calibration issue with ARCamera Optical See-Through (Epso

Hi,

I have the same issue with Unity 5.3.4, Moverio BT-200 and Vuforia 5.5.9.

I did the callibration process several times to make sure the target was perfectly aligned when tracked, still, displayed objects are shifting on the left. I first assumed this was due to the position of the camera on the device (it's on the right side), but nothing seems to change when trying to callibrate again.

3D objects are duplicated as well, when getting close. As I said, I tried to callibrate several times until I had a close-to-perfect callibration with the red square, yet the shift between the eyes is always the same, so I don't know what I can do.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

EDIT: Ok well, I wasn't using the example properly, so I eventually managed to get the teapot in the right place. I still have this duplication issue when getting close though.
