Hi,
After following Vuforia's tutorial on using the ARVR sample scene, i exported it to Android and when i open the app on my Galaxy S6 i can see the camera and the 2 views, but when i insert my phone to the GearVR, it closes the app and launches Oculus Home.
I've followed technique #1 in the tutorial which states that you can develop apps for the GearVR without the Oculus Mobile SDK.
https://library.vuforia.com/articles/Solution/Integrating-Oculus-for-GearVR-with-the-ARVR-sample
How can i solve that?
(I'm using Unity 5.3.2f1 and ARVR-6-0-117 and if it matters, in my ARCamera settings, Cardboard v1 (Google) is checked. (no option for GearVR)).
Also - where and how can i define which texture i want Vuforia to target and put the 3D model on?
Thanks!
You have to change the stereo
You have to change the stereo camera config to Gear VR (oculus) and you have to create a key for mobile (not eyewear). And dont forget the Osig. You also have to define the left/right camera and the central anchor point, It works for me, but I can't see the camera texture.
