Question on Note 4 Models and digital eyewear

Hi,

I'm looking to purchase a suitable Note 4 phone to work with the Digital Eyewear SDK. The Note 4 commonly available for purchase in Canada is model number SM-N910W8. I'm noticing that the release notes indicate that models SM-N910F, SM-N910G, SM-N910T, SM-N910V and SM-N910A are compatible.

Two questions.

1. Will the digital eyewear SDK be usable on this phone? I have researched and other users have successfully run Gear VR apps on Canadian phones. I am concerned, though, that the Vuforia license will not recognize the device.

2. In case an answer to my first question is not available: is it possible to run digital eyewear apps on the Note 4 without the Gear VR hardware? I ask because this would allow me to purchase a phone and test the SDK before ordering the GearVR hardware.

Took a gamble and purchased the SM-N910W8, having researched that it is identical in hardware configuration to the N910T (and even reads N910T under the battery).
