I followed the instructions off integrating GearVR with Vuforia (https://developer.vuforia.com/library/articles/Solution/Integrating-Gear-VR-and-the-AR-VR-Sample-in-Unity-5-3-and-above). I reduced the scene to the marker and a cube as my virtual object. It kinda works, the object is recognised and placed on top of the marker. But the problem is that the offset off the camera video stream is wrong, meaning I can see both pictures so I see all twice with a slight offset.( two markers etc.) What might be the problem?
Hello,
Hello,
This is due to the Vuforia SDK rendering your scene in stereo. This, coupled with the "offset" of the rendered images, creates the perception of 3D, 360 degree view when the device is placed in the GearVR headset.
This is not a problem with Vuforia or the integration guide.
Hey,
Hey,
but I tried the same scene with a cardboard and it worked as expected. The offset was just right so I saw only one picture in 2D in AR mode and one picture in 3D in VR mode.
Hello,
Hello,
Can you send some example screen shots? I think this will be helpful to better understand the issue.
Thanks.
