Vuforia 5.0.5. + Unity 5.1.2: image is too small

Hi,

I followed this tutorial: https://developer.vuforia.com/library/articles/Solution/Integrating-Oculus-0601-with-Vuforia-5

What I get is attached in the image. Could you tell me, how to fix this?

Previously in the 4.2.3 version it was allowed to modify the size. The background is rendered to cover exactly the area in the field of view that the actual camera covers.

You should do some test to see if it is small:

- Run your app

- With the viewer on put your hand in front of the camera

- Note if the hand has the right size

 

If you still want to scale the background you can modify the field of view in OVRCameraRig.ConfigureCamera(OVREye eye):

cam.fieldOfView = eyeDesc.fov.y;

But then it's still too small...

I'm using an Oculus Rift to display the game view and with Vuforia 4.2.3 it worked quite good.

In the screenshot I've seen in another thread here, its big enough, so could someone explain it to me?

Hi,

This is the intended behavior. The video is not rendering covering the whole area. You need to set the background camera color to black instead of the default blue one.
