Vuforia can detect and track targets by processing the camera frames (live camera feed) that are retrieved from the device camera at runtime.
Can I use a video / movie as input to Vuforia, instead of the camera ?
No, Vuforia does not support this. Only the live camera feed can be used.
Can I feed Vuforia with static / custom images ?
No, Vuforia does not support this. Only the live camera feed can be used.
Can I pre-process the camera frames ?
No, the camera frames are directly read from the device camera and sent to the Vuforia tracking engine; you cannot manipulate or modify the camera frame image before it is injected into the Vuforia trackers.
