About licensing...

Hi !

I tried to read the licensing agreement and apparently my english isn't good enough to fully understand it (I read the sticky post about publishing too).

Here's my question : let's say I develop an iPhone app using Vuforia. Do I have the rights to sell it on the App Store ?

I tried contacting Qualcomm through several contact forms, I tried to call them but didn't get any answer.

Thanks a lot for reading me.

Good day !

Not the full developer license agreement , but the END-USER License Agreement, yes;

you can read the relevant text in Section 8 of the License agreement shown in the License Dialog when you download the SDK, which starts with:

MANDATORY END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT CLAUSE. Each end user of a Vuforia-enabled software application must agree to the end user terms set forth in this Section 8 .... [continues ....]

(not copy-pasting all the text here).

So if I do that (selling on app store), do I need to make sure each person who downloads the app has to accept the license agreement?

yes, you are allowed to build an App based on Vuforia and sell it on the App Store;

however be sure to read the license agreement and in partiaulr check the section  8 - MANDATORY END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT CLAUSE in the license agreement.

For more specific legal advise, please use the contact form:

and select the Licensing category.

Also, if you are using the Cloud Recognition functionality, be sure to check this page:
