Animations to 3-d objects

May 9, 2013 - 12:09pm #1

Hello.

Can someone tell me how to animate the 3d objects created.

In my project my requirement is;

1. I want an object(3-d) to move from left to right.

2. I want an object to be rotating(or spinning).

Please help me.

Thank you

Hi Sheldor,

can you create a new Thread on this (as we are diverging from the original topic on 3D animations)

Thanks.

Is there a way where I can use Intents through unity tool.

My project needs a call to be activated on the press of a virtual button.

No, there is no built-in API or tool to perform animations in our SDK.

Thanks Allesandro. That helped me a lot.

Are there any inbuilt scripts in the sdk for animations?

Have a look at this for instance, which provides a sample of how to rotate / translate and scale an object attached to an ImageTargets in Unity:

https://developer.vuforia.com/forum/faq/unity-how-can-i-transform-teapot

Note however that in general, this type of basic Unity-related questions (rotating a 3D object and similar) are just about Unity programming (and not speific to the Vuforia SDK), so they should not be posted on the Vuforia forum.

Thanks.

Try searching the forums as this has been asked many times before.

Also, when you ask questions provide more details (platform, which version of Vuforia what you have tried, where you are starting from etc.)
