AR application using a webcam?? Is it possible??

Hi all, Does anyone know how they actually did this below app(pls refer to the link) for their site? Im wondering how can they made use of AR using a webcam?? I thought AR only supported by android devices. As I know, they are using D'Fusion as development platform. Which is a complicated AR Engine beyond tracking marker/Tracker. It also do motion detection, face detection. But D'fusion is extremely expensive for indie development.
