AR Core vs Vuforia

Can anyone explain how AR Core performs so well? No jittering too! And Why Vuforia SDK is not hardware specific like AR Core?

ARKit and ARCore are Google and Apples augmented reality offerings. They can take full advantage of everything that their respective platform offers, while Vuforia has to work on both of them, so cannot.

The big advantages that Vuforia has right now is it's more accessible (It already has Unity on board), it provides functionality for both platforms (So if you use Unity with Vuforia, you can release to iOS AND Android) and it already works with a wide variety of phones (To the best of my knowledge, ARCore currently only works with a small fraction of Android phones. I've no idea about how well-supported ARKit is).

I haven't done a huge amount of research, but so far Vuforia seems to be the best  option on the market if you're going multi-platform or want a wide audience. The only issue is that it actually costs money, but 500 quid isn't a huge price to pay in my opinion, for what you're getting.
