AR for real world objects

Is vuforia able to track real work objects with finer details? For example, i take a picture of a golden color watch(user defined target). Now I am pointing to a lether watch which is of different shape, size and color, will vuforia be able to track the leather watch or will it track only if it identifies the Golden color watch?

No, this is not possible at the moment.

Hi, using UDT,  the color does not matter that much (e.g. gold vs. lether);

so, if the only difference is the color, it should be able to detect both cases;

however, if there are other small details that make the two objects look different, than the second object may not be detected;

the best is to test it with a real case, as it is otherwise difficult to tell by just making some "theoretical assumptions"...

Also, note that UDT work with planar images, so a picture of a watch may not work in general (as Nalin was suggesting).
