No matter what I do, I can't get Target Manager to accept my images.
Please see the attached image.
I've checked it in ImageMagick
`identify jFlakesBox_Left.jpg`
and I get the following output:
jFlakesBox_Left.jpg JPEG 156x156 156x156+0+0 8-bit Gray 256c 5.7KB 0.000u 0:00.000
That looks like an 8-bit, grayscale .jpg to me.
When I go to upload the left cube face, I get the following error in my browser:
Invalid file format.Only 8 bit gray scale or 24 bit RGB of file type JPG or PNG are allowed.
Why won't it accept this image?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Cannot upload image to Target Manager
Can you retry saving the image in RGB format ?
I tried that on your image, and it worked.
Meanwhile, I have passed the message to our team, as normally your original image (in grayscale) should work.

Cannot upload image to Target Manager
I am trying to upload the image attached to this post. I am getting the following error:
Cannot upload image to Target Manager
Well, if you follow the error message it is pretty self-explanatory.
Ensure the uploaded image is one of those types.

Don't forget to strip out the Alpha channel
Cannot upload image to Target Manager
Correct. The alpha channel is a common reason why a PNG image can fail, as it makes it RGBA (32-bit) instead of the accepted format RGB-24bit.
