Creating Image Targets at runtime

September 16, 2019 - 11:37pm #1

Hi,

Is there any way to generate and use Image targets from script in Unity or Android Studio implementation? We want to take image of target at run-time and use it for detection. What is the best way to achieve this?

Creating Image Targets at runtime

Hi,

Below is the exact scenario I am trying to achieve.

I have form digitally filled with user data. The structure of the form remains the same but data changes as per the user. When I try to use normal image target of any one form with user data, it detects that particular form but as soon as the new form comes with different data, it does not detect because markers are created on data texts as well.

I want to create a solution where any user with any data can detect the form. I am placing my augmentation at specific place on the form(image target) and I want that to remain same for all the users.

Is there any way to manipulate the markers once created? Or using user defined image target can I feed images instead of taking from the camera? The want to feed the image from code because I want the augmented part to remain at the same position. If I allow user to take picture and show the augmentation, it will not fit at the exact place for all.

Feel free to suggest any other way to implement the above.

Thanks & Regards,

Meghaksh
