creating my own asset

Do you mean using vuforia with unity ?
I am using opengl with android. I tried to convert .obj to C/C++ header files. But then I need to again make some changes to this header file.
Do you just import 3d model in unity and then replace your model with a teapot or you still make some change to code ?
Thanks

Hello,
There are a number of threads on this. There is a popular example on the forums for replacing the teapot with a Banana. Please see this thread to get started https://ar.qualcomm.at/content/replace-3d-model-different-3d-model
Thank you,

Here you go - https://ar.qualcomm.at/qdevnet/developer_guide/Target%20Management%20System
There are a set of topics available on the left, by expanding the Target Management System folder.
Hello,
Unity has some good videos describing the process of importing 3D content into their editor. http://unity3d.com/support/documentation/video/ . There is no coding required to import 3d models to Unity. Just use the Vuforia Unity Extension, available here at ar.qualcomm.at in the SDK tab, to quickly create compelling AR content.
There is a 30 day fully functional trial of Unity that works great with the Vuforia extension so you can try out the workflow for free.
Thank you,
-Peter
