Difference Between Vumarks and Image Targets?

October 13, 2017 - 1:49pm #1

Hey guys can someone explain the difference between Vumarks and Image Targets?

They both seem to serve the same function as a target for tracking.  Is there a function or feature I am missing?  Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Strasza,  Thank you for your response.  I will definitely check out the article.  The poster above you @reasas343s appears to be spam unless I am completely retarded.  Could any mod investigate it, Thank you.

Hello AvionVrImmersion,

VuMarks and Image Targets are similar in functionality, but VuMarks are able to have multiple instances of the same image to act similar to a QR or bar code. This allows you to have multiple versions of the same image be tracked simultaneously due to small differences in the surrounding design of the image.

For more information on VuMarks, refer to this article https://library.vuforia.com/articles/Training/VuMark.html

Thanks,
