Future of Vuforia with Qualcomm recent troubles?

I'm a former metaio developer thats just starting to develop with Vuforia, and now I'm worried about the future of this product platform! Does anyone know if Vuforia will be protected from the coming job losses at Qualcomm?

that sounds bad and I share your concerns. We used metaio and had a good insight about the team and developer size. We were at the insideAR conference for years and since we're located in Munich we even had some personal contacts.
