Hi,
I am having problems getting tracking to work anywhere except very close to the marker. My marker is of A4 size and tracking is not happening beyond approximately 3 feet. Extended tracking has improved the situation somewhat but even with extended tracking after approx 5 feet, the model gets glitchy before disappearing completely. For my use case, I need the model to be augmented from 10 feet away. Is there any way to do that? Is there any other functionality that I can implement or some tweaks in current set up? I am using image tracking. The marker I am using is rated 5 star. Would making changes in code to optimise it for my use case be possible? I am using Vuforia 5.5.9 with Unity 5.3.4.
Thanks for your help.
Hello,
Hello,
Detection and tracking performance are directly related to the quality of the input image. Thus, if environmental lighting and/or the device camera is poor, there may be issues.
Hi,
Hi,
Hello,
Hello,
Have you enabled extended tracking? This can help greatly when attempting to track targets at longer distances.
Thanks
Yes, I have enabled it. But
Yes, I have enabled it. But as mentioned, the problem is that the augmentation of the model is unsteady and inaccurate. The model moves towards the camera as I move away and also moves upward.
