How can I further improve detection and tracking stability?

Hello everybody,
about improving targets precision and stability I have already raed those articles

But I would like to go even further.
Which kind of target grants the higher precision? There are differences between Image Target, Cylinder, Multi Target, Object Target, and others?

Can I use 2 or more targets tracked simultaneously to improve precision and stability?
I tried a simple arithmetic mean between every member of the model view projection matrix (I work with Android), the 3D model is shown in the middle of the 2 markers, do you think this can be a way to improve accuracy, to work better when the marker is far or in the border of the video or to have any kind of benefit?

Hey,

Did you find any results for this? Because I want to know similar things about targets.

I'm particularly interested in knowing Multi-Target vs Image Target stability. Which is better?

 

I can think of two cases:

1. Because Multi Target has two targets to track and thus uses more processing power and is thus less stable.

2. Multi Target actually considers both (I'm using two targets) as one using an efficient algorithm and there's no affect on processing and stability, thus, increases.

 

What can we conclude?

The quality of tracking is dependent on the features in the targets. The articles you mentioned contain the tips necessary to create targets with ideal features for tracking.

You can track more than 1 target simultaneously, but additional targets don't have an additive effect on the quality of tracking.
