ImageTarget vs Framemarker

Hi, does anybody know ImageTarget (Natural feature tracking) and framemarker (or traditional marker), which one provides better accuracy in pose estimation?

An ImageTarget with a good rating (i.e. lots of features , with good pattern variation, that are distributed evenly across the target ) will enable better pose estimation than a Frame Marker. Though a Frame Marker may provide better pose estimation than a poorly rated ImageTarget.
