Hello everyone, I am new to Vuforia. I have an idea to do AR apps for kids.
For example:
1. When one marker with "blue word" detected, the virtual layer show a 3D test tube with blue color water.
2. When one marker with "red word" detected, the virtual layer show a 3D test tube with red color water.
3. When both the "blue word" and "red word" marker detected, the virtual layer show a 3D test tube with purple color.
I get this idea after I watch this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpNrWKQFq6Q
Is it possible using Vuforia to do an apps like this.
Any journal or tutorial about this?
Thank you for your concern.

Hi, this seems to be perfectly feasible with Vuforia;
if you want to rely on words, the best woul be to use the Text Recognition feature of Vuforia;

Hi, thanks for your reply.
Actually I want rely on marker. The word is juz easy for us to differentiate the marker.
For example marker A show 3D cat, marker B show 3D milk. But when marker A put beside marker B, the cat will drink the milk.
Thank you.

Hi,
Is it you mean I can use Vuforia SDK but not Vuforia Unity to do that?
It is just a logic at the C++ code?
tq

You can use either the native Android a/o iOS Vuforia SDKs or the Vuforia Unity extension, though it will be easier to do in Unity.

We don't have specific tutorials on this topic, but there are several articles in the Knowledge Base that address the consituent subjects - https://developer.vuforia.com/resources/dev-guide/knowledge-base

Hi, may I know is it nessasary I need to use Unity if I want to show animation 3D object like "cat drinking the milk" after image marker detected.
Or it also can done in Vuforia?

Vuforia is responsible for the detection and tracking features and provides the ability to accurate register models and animations to targets. It also renders the video background for the scene. But it doesn't accommodate model loading or animation.

Good day to you.
I have some question want to ask and sorry because I am just a newbie.
Actually I want to do an image marker based AR application with the display of virtual layer with 3D animation.
