Hello,
I'm preparing an app for the iOS App Store and I have a question regarding the EULA. For our App the points 8 (i) and (ii) of the Vuforia SDK License Agreement are relevant.
Reegarding 8 (i) (the collection and storage of data...), do you consider this covered by the following paragraph (b.) from the Apple "Licensed Application End User Agreement" (AKA the Apple Standard App Store EULA) which can be found here: http://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/appstore/dev/stdeula/?
b. Consent to Use of Data: You agree that Application Provider may collect and use technical data and related information, including but not limited to technical information about Your device, system and application software, and peripherals, that is gathered periodically to facilitate the provision of software updates, product support and other services to You (if any) related to the Licensed Application. Application Provider may use this information, as long as it is in a form that does not personally identify You, to improve its products or to provide services or technologies to You.
Thanks for your time,
Stefan
iOS Standard License Agreement
Hi Stefan
You'll need to use the explicit statements provided in our license within your own EULA. The App Store consent statement is consistent w/ our terms, but not sufficient.
