For some time, we have been working on a code wrapper for the Vuforia AR library. The Vuforia image tracking is amazing but as many of you know there are certain barriers in working with the SDK as is, when developing new apps and adding new content. We have made an effort to bridge this gap with a code wrapper that we call the Kudan Framework, enabling such features as images, 3D objects, video-on-texture, touchable markers, partial view ports, gyroscope integration and more.
For the interested, we have uploaded a video describing the building of a video-on-texture AR app in Xcode using the Kudan framework. We walk through the process of creating the app, and show the app working at the end.
Furthermore, we have a video showing how to adapt a template for an AR Lens product and to make it use new marker and image content.
As an example, our Kudan Augmented Reality demo app for iOS is built using this framework. The framework is also being developed for Android.
The Kudan Framework is not yet available but is coming soon.
