Dear Vuforia,

Currently I'm researching usability issues within the field of Mixed Reality (MR). I have been using the vuforia plugin within Unity with great pleasure for about 200 hours, thanks for developing such a good product. Together with a student of mine we are considering to create a MR game to release in the App Store or Play store. We are wondering where we can find information about obtaining a license to do so.

Hi,

Vuforia is a free SDK (although not open source), so you are free to publish your application made with Vuforia on the App store or Google Play store;

however make sure to read these pages:
