New to vuforia NEED HELP

May 16, 2016 - 1:07pm #1

Hi I new to Vuforia and unity 3D. My first question is what should I start learning for augmented reality code and where would be a good stop to go for tutorials. My second questions is how can I overlay over different image targets, so that a image would appear on top of another one. My third question is how do I view view it on my iPhone. Do I download the ask for iOS and put that in the Vuforia folder in unity.

Please need help don't know who else to ask.

Hello,

I would recommend downloading Unity 2017.2 and then installing the Vuforia Core Samples that are available on the Unity Asset Store. You can download them from within Unity or from this link https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/packs/vuforia-core-samples-99026

Our Library page has various articles describing our features and how to use them: https://library.vuforia.com/

If you want multiple Image Targets to display a new augmentation when they are close, you can check if their Transform positions are close enough and load in the correct augmentation when the distance between two targets is small enough.

You can build to iOS by opening your Build Settings menu in Unity, selecting iOS, and pressing the "Build and Run" button. This will generate an XCode project that will build the app to your phone.

Thanks,

-Vuforia Support
