Is possible to make/use a pattern to reconigze different real objets?

July 24, 2012 - 3:36am #1

Hello all.

I need to reconigze a real objet, by example a bike.

I upload to TMS a lot of images of bikes but the app onlye reconigzes my images not other similar  :(

How can I make a pattern? I think is imposible  :(

Thanks!

If you want to use a bunch of markers to recognize one object, you will have to use UCS:
https://ar.qualcomm.at/content/unified-coordinate-system

If you don't want to recognize images but the 3d object itself, have a look at the Obvious AR engine:
http://obviousengine.com/

It only recognizes a cylinder shape at the moment though...

You think correct.

At present Vuforia offers several different types of image recognition, but a real 3D object is not one of them.

The multitargets sample is the nearest at the moment, which you might be able to get working so long as the object is in a box.
