QCAR and Iphone

May 19, 2011 - 5:55am #1

Is there a possibility that there will be support for IOS in the near future? I personally love your Android compatibility, but multiplatform support is an interesting aspect for mobile apps. If not, is there a technical reason why Iphone won't be supported any time soon?

Will there be another private beta?

So much for my predictions.

That's great news!

Hopefully this will include an extension for Unity.

The current iPhone / iOS is viable for CV based AR. There are other SDK's that will run in that environment. It's really a matter of QC's vision for QCAR - where they want to go with it.

FWIW QC has a much closer relationship w/ MS, and their snapdragon processor is pervasive w/ Windows Mobile 7, so that is a more likely target - I don't work for QC, and have no special insight on their thinking, but it's a logical speculation.
