Hello,

I have a noob question.

Vuforia just recognize the marker and i have to make the 3d shapes with another framework?

Yes that's possible. Vuforia can be integrated w/ 3D rendering engines, such as JPTC and OGRE. Also there is a project that integrates Vuforia w/ GameKit. And you can use nearly any 3D authoring tool to create models, so long that it can export to standard formats.

Review the Knowledge Base articles to see how Vuforia uses OpenGL to render augmentations - https://developer.vuforia.com/resources/dev-guide/knowledge-base-articles

As for model complexity, this is going to be limited by the device context more so than the overhead of running Vuforia. There is some cost to running the Tracker, but it's secondary to the performance characteristics of the device. My advice is to download the free trial version of Unity Pro and test one of your models using our ImageTargets sample. That will give you an idea of what's possible.

David, my mistake, i explained wrong for you. Sorry, my english is the worse!! rsrs

I wanto to use Vuforia to recognize an image, just that!

After recognize an image, i want to use an another framework to generate 3D elements em my tablet, complex elements.

Is this possible?

It would need to be composed as a MultiTarget a/o Cylinder faces. The platform doesn't provide a method for capturing arbitrary 3D shapes.

Thanks David.

And if i need to create something more complex in 3d?

You can create 3D shapes using MultiTargets and also Cylinder Targets.
