Hi!
We're currently using Vuforia to recognise a projected target that is beamed from a DLP projecter.
The recognition works ok. But the camera (Android - Nexus 9 and a number of other tested devices) is getting some red, green and blue coloured banding artfacts when viewing the projected image.
I believe this is due to the colour wheel of the projector displaying alternate red, green and blue colours. So when a fast shutter speed is used it results in the banding arfifacts.
I have experimented with different shutter speeds of the camera externally to Vuforia and have found that this artfact can be tuned out with a slower shutter speed. But I have not found any way to adjust shutter speed in Vuforia. Is there a way? If not with the Vuforia API is there any other way to set this with a custom plugi?
I am using the Vuforia plugin for Unity.
Thanks!
David.
Currently, the CameraDevice class exposes methods for focus, but not for changing settings related to exposure.
