Hey guys,

Our latest app uses Vuforia to promote action figures (DC, Marvel, Star Wars). Using some cards as targets, a real-scale 3D model is shown.

We also have a Batman v Superman mixed reality where Superman flies by, using his heat vision on the bat-signal while a real-life Batman action figure (displayed using a mask) watches him!

And our newest addition is a Death Star hologram

All feedback is appreciated!

You can get the app on:

iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/br/app/iron-studios-real-app/id1041117321?mt=8

Hi everyone!

I just released an app made with Vuforia called AR Theatre

VIdeo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9AAhqMCPwE

With a user defined target, you can load a 3D model with textures and animation from your device's storage. Several common 3d file formats are supported as well as videos, audio and images.

You can than record it and save it to your device as an mp4 video file and/or share it.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing great! I would like to share my AR whack 'em game made with Vuforia and Unity. Simply find yourself a suitable reference object (a flat and colorful one, like a book cover) and start whacking the skulls until the wave ends! I am so delighted to work with the AR technology, it simply provides originality and advanced interaction to our apps, so cool :)

Hi there!

Please take a look at our new Augmented Reality mobile app for construction company. This app is a presentation of the residential complex with virtual tour. In the app we show complex at its best, not only the building and floor plans, but also the impressive demonstration of the 3D-model. Within the app users are exploring residential complex using AR and 3D experience.

The application brings the sale of real estate to a new level. It simplifies the sales process and is a convenient and easy tool for effective presentation. The app allows you to enjoy the atmosphere of the house, which does not yet exist. People are really excited with the opportunity to see a realistic model of the complex straight ahead, view it from different angles, to see through walls, to look into the courtyard. The model is highly detailed, while the app is running very fast.

Download for iPhone or iPad https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ziloj-kvartal-central-nyj/id1013851696?l=ru&ls=1&mt=8

The app is developed for the local market and will be released only in Russian

Hello!

Here is our work: 3 apps for Education with some Augmented Reality feaures.

http://youtu.be/FHPhDdb668w

Anatomy: Study the complete human body interactively. Learn the most important systems and their functions with realistic representations in Augmented Reality.

Geometry: Study the properties of the most representative polyhedra in the mathematical world. Examine them from different points because of Augmentes Reality.

Chemistry: provides a new learning experience for both the student and the teacher, transforming the classroom into a laboratory thanks to Augmented Reality.

We use both technologies: Image target detection and User Defined Target. Vuforia is the best Augmented Reality library that we have ever tried!

EnKit is a mobile augmented reality application that complements the silkscreened work - EnKit - the Collaboratory collection.

---------- EN KIT is a silkscreen work ----------
120 copies, numbered and signed
- 6-color, 32 pages,
- 5 books: ready-cut, foldable, that can be shaped as posters, fliers and alike!

All in an box that is also silkscreened.

The idea is to provide a graphic and illustrative game evoking the model, with associations of elements.
These elements may compose an object, an idea, a phrase ...

Some of the 17 plates easily allow a glimpse of what they are.
For others, the free downloadable augmented reality app will certainly help you on the way

You will then see with your eyes how these elements form a kit ...

You can order the book or download silkscreen poster examples at the site EnKit:

Fingo is a catalogue of furniture for living room, bedroom, office, nursery, accessories. Everyone can turn and move around the room pieces of furniture as if they are really placed in the room. 3D-models.

You can save results of furniture configuration as a picture, with the attached list of the chosen positions from the catalogue. The app is integrated with social networks, you can share photos on you favorite network.

To use the app, you need a tracking image (marker). You can print marker from the app or create it yourself.

Advanteges of application:

  • High-realistic 3D models;
  • Functionality for design of the interior;
  • The large catalogue of the real products.

Available in the App Store and Google Play:

Land|Slide Possible Futures is a contemporary public art exhibition that opens up the past to reflect on the future in Markham, ON — one of Canada’s most diverse, agriculturally rich, and fastest-growing cities. Over 30 national and international artists have been commissioned to reinterpret Markham Museum’s historical buildings, built between 1820 and 1930, and the Museum’s 80,000 historical artefacts in the context of a world in dramatic transition.
Collaborations between artists and museums have become more common in the past decade as artists are increasingly engaging with history and research. Working with a wide range of media, including personal archives and artefacts, digitized diaries, 3D projections, augmented reality, and historic architectures, each new work responds to the site as an emblematic turning point. These projects explore the interwoven lines of human culture, ecology, and sustainability that must be considered when moving towards a possible future.

The mobile application, LandslideAR includes locative, wayfinding, and augmented reality experiences for the exhibit running September 21st to October 14th, 2013 at the Markham Museum in Markham, Ontario, Canada. The app has two modes: Camera based (indoor) and GPS based (outdoor). Please download the app in advance of attending, bring headphones, and above all, be mindful of your surroundings.

Both Vuforia ImageTargets and FrameMarkers are used in this along with GPS and sensor based AR.

https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/landslidear/id698291605?mt=8

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ca.futurecinemalab.LandslideAR&hl=en

There is also a Vuforia based work by Caitlin Fisher, Tony Viera, and Tristan Prescott on display on iPads at the exhibit.

http://futurestories.ca/motherhomeheaven/

Mother/Home/Heaven is an augmented reality piece that uses diaries and materials from the Markham site as a point of departure to consider gender, private spaces, loss and longing. The pieces plays with both real objects and accounts and fictional, whispered secrets and ghosts we imagine might haunt these accounts and neatly ordered shelves.

Rosatom VVER-1200 (our joint project)

Rosatom VVER-1200 application gives you a unique opportunity to learn about the latest nuclear power plant (NPP) design of ROSATOM using AUGMENTED REALITY technology.

This AUGMENTED REALITY model was created by JSC Rusatom Overseas. The model presents a two-unit NPP of a serial VVER-1200 (AES-2006) design developed by the ROSATOM’s Saint Petersburg R&D Institute ATOMENERGOPROEKT (JSC SPbAEP). It latest evolution in a long line of VVER NPP designs - 67 power units with VVER reactors have been constructed all over the world since 1960’s. VVER-1200 takes into account all post-Fukushima requirements: 4 trains of active safety systems having both normal and emergency power supply are combined with passive safety systems which functioning needs neither the intervention of NPP personnel nor a power supply.
