Hi everyone, I would like to seek your opinion based on your experience, What are advantages does image target have over text recognition. I'm implementing an app the recognize a medication and display an augmentation over it. While text recognition might seem the obvious choice, I feel it will limit the capability of the application because of the following:
1- Might be hard to detect medication label if so many text is there. 2- It assume the medication box is always available while with image target you can stick the image to the (box, inside bar, or medication container)
I need more justification of why to go with image target (or not to go), I'm still new to the whole augmented reality development so what do you think?
