Hello!
I'm planning to release an Android application with Vuforia user defined targets in it. I read the license agreement but have trouble understanding section 13 "Demonstration of Your Applications by QCE" , especially the following paragraph.
You hereby grant QCE and its affiliates a world-wide, assignable, non-exclusive, fully paid-up and royalty-free, perpetual right and license to use, reproduce, distribute, publicly display and publicly perform, in each case for promotional and/or demonstration purposes, each such application and accompanying documentation and Graphical Assets
Am I understanding it right that QCE can really distribute my app if I am using vuforia in it? Does this mean they could technically provide it on this homepage without my permission? I have no problem with using, reproducing, publicly displaying or performing but redistributing would really kind of perplex me.
Can somebody please confirm this or clarify the issue.. Maybe I just got lost in the juristic phrases. ;)
Understanding License Section 13
My understanding here would be that QCE may potentially showcase your app for demonstration / public display purposes, but I don't think that paragrah mentions any possibility of QCE to make your app "downloadable" to the general public without your permission...
