Using other marker

Hello, is it possible to use this marker? [url]http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/256/groundalvar1.jpg[/url] I am trying to make my Desktop AR application that builded with Goblin XNA working with Vuforia Android. trying to use TMS with the image but it's repetitive patterns. Thank you.

What rating did you get from the TMS? Do you want to use those markers individually, or will they always be part of the same target? I expect that you can use the image that you've linked.

I'd recommend doing some testing using that image. The feature distribution is good. I suspect that it's the grid-like layout that is resulting in a poor rating. But the rating are only estimates. So it would probably be worthwhile to perform your own tests.

I tested this myself, and it isn't. The interior features of the markers are good, but overall it won't track. So my advice would be to consider adding a border that's trackable, if you want to retain the marker arrangement to support your XNA version.

I modified the marker as you suggested.. now it has good rating from TMS. Thank you DavidBeard :)
