Hi,
I'm working on a Unity AR project where I consider utilizing the new Extended Tracking feature. To make best use of the technology I would need to know a technical detail about the technology which is not mentioned inside the release article:
What does the Extended Tracking feature use as reference points for keeping up the augmentation - does it utilize the camera input frames, therefore bascially running operations with the pixels at runtime, or is the technology solely based inside the virtual world, taking the on-screen 3D geometry as reference for "knowing where it is"?
